LIFEGROUPS

In keeping with our mission statement, we aim to connect people to Jesus Christ and one another. One of the ways we seek to accomplish this goal is through an important ministry at our church we call Life Groups.

Life Groups are pockets of community within our faith family that are Bible-centered and community-driven. We believe that as these groups of believers walk through life, and study God’s word together, they will experience a prime environment for the Lord to work.

ADULT LIFE GROUPS

Host Home: Tim and Kim Martin

THURSDAY EVENINGS 6-8pm (EVERY OTHER WEEK)

This is a group that is chiefly made up of those whose kids are now grown. Some are retired, some are not. Regardless of your work status, you are welcome to come and “do life” with these dear brothers and sisters and love one another well. The meeting location for this group is in Saraland at the home Tim and Kim Martin.

Host Home: JOHN AND SUSAN FINLEY

THURSDAY EVENINGS 6-8pm (EVERY OTHER WEEK)

If you are looking for a group in the West Mobile area, this one is for you! This group is also mostly made up of adults with grown children, but welcomes those at any stage of life. Their goal is to grow deeper in Christ through His Word and special design for fellowship with other believers. They meet at the home of John and Susan Finley.

YOUNG ADULT LIFE GROUPS

Host Home: CASON AND JAYDEN MARTIN/ANDY AND LISA SHIRLEY

SUNDAY EVENINGS 5-7pm (EVERY WEEK)

This group is comprised of a variety of ages and stages of life including singles, married, and married with young children. Their aim is to study God’s Word and to walk through the highs and lows of life in community with one another. There is a rotation of adults who volunteer to watch the children after dinner so the adults can participate in the study together. This group alternates between South Mobile and Saraland at the Martin’s and the Shirley’s.

Host Home: COLE AND TIFFANY JOHNSON

THURSDAY EVENINGS 6-8pm (EVERY WEEK)

If you are “newly married” or “soon to be married”, this Life Group is for you! This is a great opportunity to start your marriages out right as you center your focus on Christ together while intentionally walking in community with other Christian couples. They meet on Thursday evenings at 6pm in the Theodore area at the Johnson’s home. There are volunteers who assist with childcare at these group gatherings.

MULTI-GENERATIONAL LIFE GROUPS

Host Home: RAYMOND AND KELLY PITTS/MELISSA AND ANDREW FLOWERS

SUNDAY EVENINGS 5-7pm (EVERY WEEK)

This is a multi-generational group of Christ-followers focused on the study of God’s Word and community with God’s people. Most of the children of the families of this group are elementary age through high school. In addition to being multi-generational, this group also draws from all over the Mobile area. As such, meeting locations will alternate between South Mobile and Saraland at the Pitt’s and Flowers’ home. They meet weekly except the last week of each month.

ON CAMPUS

COLLEGE & YOUNG ADULT LIFE GROUP

Meeting Location: Bellingrath Room

SUNDAY MORNINGS after the service (EVERY WEEK)

We have a growing population of college students and young adults in our faith family. For those in this exciting (and at times, trying) phase of life, we offer this group for you to come and be a part of. We meet on campus in the Bellingrath Room immediately following the service and once a month at Matt and Cindy Taylor’s home. Join us for Brunch and a time of fellowship and Bible Study together. We would love to walk through life with you during this season of life!

ADULT LIFE GROUP

Meeting Location: Downtown Church Cafe

SUNDAY MORNINGS (EVERY WEEK)

For those interested in experiencing a Life Group that’s on-campus following our Sunday service, this is a great option for you. Group participants mostly have children who are grown now, but this group is open to all adults. The teaching style is what’s known as expository teaching (where you slowly work through books of the Bible together). This group meets downstairs in the Cafe following our Sunday service.
